This section of the website showcases recent, creative messaging examples about engineering from all over the country. Specifically, it includes examples that incorporate the messages and taglines recommended in the Changing the Conversation report. read more
Not all the examples were inspired by the report, but they are all in the spirit of painting the bold, inclusive, and inspirational picture of engineering that the Changing the Conversation project espouses. Many of these examples were suggested by the Changing the Conversation committee and staff, but new examples will be continually added, based on your recommendations. Inclusion in the collection of messaging examples does not imply endorsement by the National Academy of Engineering or the project committee.
Examples come in all formats, from print pamphlets and reports, to videos, to a video billboard displayed in Times Square. They have been produced by companies who hire engineers, universities that train them, educational non-profits, and sometimes, by individuals. The examples target a range of audiences, from children and parents to employers and policy professionals. You can use the filters below to search for examples that meet your interests.
