    Rice 360 Institute for Global Technologies

    This page, which includes a one-minute video, highlights the work of two female non-major bioengineering students on a very simple centrifuge that can process blood samples so that medical tests might be run in developing areas without advanced lab facilities. The project is an example of the Institute's work to make "low-cost, high-performance health technologies that address major global health challenges."
